Found still life photography

Sometimes it’s nice to photograph “found” still life rather than setting up a still life scene from scratch. Mind, I don’t mind setting up still life scenes…. I enjoy the process of taking an image from “nothing” to a complete set. Choosing my props and lense(s) and manipulating the light – whether natural light or artificial lighting.

If you’re a still life photographer, what’s your favourite type of still life photography scene, i.e. “found” or “created from scratch”. I’d love you to share.
